Tiger Cubs Boys entering the Cub Scouts in First Grade enter as Tiger Cubs. All new scouts learn the basics of scouting such as the Cub Scout Motto, the Cub Scout Promise and other basics. When complete, they are presented with the Bobcat patch. The boys then work to complete a variety of Achievements on their own and with their Den to earn their Tiger patch. Tiger cubs are required to have a parent or guardian attend the meetings.
